Well I was being a good monk in a FoW run and someone gave me a Candy Cane Wand Actually I had my first CC shards down there so that was a nice present. And I'm still using it, cause the wands generally don't do much anyway. It's very small though , a big lollipop would have been funnier... sweeter that is.

me, in the old days when i got bored of farming i used to go help ppl through the missions and quest from kryta to dessert for free and leave all my drops for them aswell.

also wont say there name for fear of spammers but a guy pulled me in granite citadel because hed seen me doing team shouts for ages.he took me on a run to get my first ids for my warrior, gave me some solo build tips, told me the use of cc's and then because no ids's dropped he gave me his and said merry christmas.now thats christmas spirit if ever i saw it shame ppl like that and myself are a dying breed in this game nowadays.

I was doing the nokani academy mission (I think), and this guy-a ranger- gave all of us some items (He gave me a free minor air rune, even though I'm a fire elemtalist I was very pleased). We brought the mission to a god end (that includes bonus of course)

Someone sold me Black Dye for 5k.
I asked him if he knew that it has a higher value than what he asked for.

"Yes but it's Xmas"

=)

Several to give my thanks to:

Our guild leader, Fetcher, and the other officers besides myself ... we all selflessly give to others in the guild (and otherwise) without expecting compensation or return ... helped me and so many others when we were new to understand all the aspects of the game, how to salvage, materials, money, and helping with missions, quests, and everything. You guys are what truly make the game fun for me to play!

Ishtara for always being so pleasant, and always inviting me to come along with her and experienced groups in areas I had no idea what I was doing (such as the UW, at the time!) - Thanks for putting up with my noob self, and defending me against the "ZOMFG you don't know what to do?" people

Lobo for much the same reasons as above, along with putting up with my horrible computer and microphone echoing TS/Vent issues which seem to spring up out of nowhere even when i'm muted ... right in the middle of fights (and stop trying to give me free stuff all the time, damnit!)

And of course, GWGuru and everyone who posts here, who are (well almost ) always polite and quick to provide their experience and help - you guys and gals are the elite, and should be thought of as such.

While it's not the nicest person I've encountered, it's still a pleasent experience that really made me feel swell.

I was in the CA, in that one arena where you've gotta get the most kills. Someone on my team says, "I prayed for a monk and got one too many." So one monk leaves. Then the guy who prayed for a monk left. Well, my remaining teamate didn't want to leave them for two minutes by themselves. And since I was playing a monk, there was no way I was going to let that ranger die by himself. So I monked for two minutes. We lost, natrually. 1-0 at the last second. One guy, Mayo And Naise says, "Good monking." None of this, "Omgwtfpwnedzorz!!!1!" I've grown used to seeing when odds are that stacked against a team.

It's what the guy didn't do, and what he said instead of the customary "gg". Just made me smile and reminded me that not all of those players out there are a bunch o' jerk faces.

Nicest person I've met so far...

Was in Lions Arch selling unwanted drops to merchant when I noticed someone wanting to buy charr carvings. I had some in storage that I didn't need so I messaged him saying that I had some to sell. I gave the price of 130g and we agreed. We started the trade, I submitted the carvings and he submitted 200g. Since his gold offer was more than what we agreed on, I modified my offer and added the difference of 70g as change. I told him why I added the gold to my offer and the trade was completed. He messaged me to thank me for being honest. As I was walking away, he started a new trade with me. I opened the trade window and found he was offering me 2k. I said I couldn't take his gold for nothing, but he insisted that I should and it was a reward for being an honest player.

Thanking me in the first place was nice, and the gold was a really extra nice gesture.

<---- Me blushing

Thanks for the compliment Defender.

The nicest people I know belong to my guild, Defender, his sister Lil Red, PA, Terik, Artemis and all the rest.

Congrats to all the people who are helping other players and expecting nothing in return. You make the community great.

A mate in my guild ran my monk for free, from Asaclon City to Lions Arch, he would have run me longer if I had time. And he would have run me to Droknar, but he wasn't trained for that run. Ohh and my guild mates for all the nice christmas gifts we gave each other. And the best gift I got was from my guild leader, a promotion .

The nicest person I've seen was a monk/warrior named Morrigan (can't remember her last name). My team brought her in for the very last mission in the Ring of Fire along another monk. One of the team (a ranger if I remember) dropped. We were now 7.

10 minutes into the mission the nuker kept aggro'ing just about every red dot on the radar and kept on saying "Where the $%^& is the healing??". We kept on going but that ele decided to go "AFK", which made us a 6-member team. Morrigan kept giving away candy canes to those in need without ever asking something in return. She also kept giving away some pretty nifty stuff.

Later on our second monk had to quit for "girlfriend" reasons (whatever the heck that means). We were now a 5-member team and things were starting to get ugly. All the way Morrigan managed to heal and protect us and even found a way to smite without ever "losing" one of us. Because of some Keystone Cops antics, the Lich flattened every team member except Morrigan. The Lich was almost dead but rezzing each one of us would have exposed her to the attacks of the Lich (while he would be "recuperating"). Morrigan switched from staff to a shield of the wing and an IDS and managed to finish off the Lich with brilliant combinations of smiting and slashing. she must have had 5hp left when the Lich felled.

Back @ Drok, she gave us more stuff that had dropped for her. I wanted to give her some gold but refused politely with a "Happy Wintersday all" and promptly left our team. Her name is Morrigan and she's dressed in turquoise. That's all I remember but if you ever see her, say thanks again from me.

Default Nicest people ever

Ok so I dont remeber thier names or the date but in doing PvP had a good group of people 5 perfects in a row, then the warrior leaves, then the monk and the last player leaving me. the other team killed me twice and noticed that I sat in the shrine when I spawned. they came and sat with and chatted for the remainder of the time. I was really impressed they didnt beat the snot out of me. So thanks if anyone of you is reading this.
